Energy Services

Energy Services are designed to provide low-income households facing temperature related crises with removing barriers to ensure a comfortable environment free from temperature related risks. Energy conservation education is an integral part of the services to promote the reduction of energy costs.

Energy services are provided through LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program), and through partnerships with Duke Power, Blue Ridge Electric, United Way, FEMA, and other energy service providers.
