The Certified Nursing Assistant is the foundation or basis of nursing care. CNA's are taught to work in long-term care and to assist in the activities of daily living. OPTHALMIC EYE CARE ASSISTANT
Ophthalmic assistants work with ophthalmologists assisting with patient care. Upon successful completion of the class and final exam, 80 hrs. of clinical experience will be spent at an affiliated ophthalmic/optometric office. PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN
This program provides students with the knowledge and skills to prepare for a position as a patient care technician, which is an unlicensed, assistive person working under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. PHLEBOTOMY
Become a vital member of the healthcare team. You will be trained to collect blood samples which enable physicians to diagnose and treat illnesses. Class lecture, lab practice and 120 clinical hours. Successful completion of the A-Step Introductory Course will identify the participant as a Sleep Technician trainee eligible to work in sleep labs.
