ENTRY SALARY: $42,577.60-$44,706.48 (DOQ)
LOCATION: Golden Strip Head Start Center
JOB SUMMARY: The Center Manager is directly responsible for working with the agency's Administrative Staff to provide an environment that meets the requirements of the Head Start Program Performance Standards. Fulfills requirements specified by the state licensure system. Is responsible for supervising all center staff and working with the Early Head Start Site Manager to facilitate the smooth operation of the Center. Shares responsibility for the training and technical assistance of the staff they supervise. Perform other related duties as needed or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. A bachelor’s degree or higher in early childhood education or a related field is desired. At least two years of experience working in a preschool program is preferred. Experience working in the Early Childhood field preferred. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. English/Spanish Bilingual speaking preferred. Demonstrated leadership and management skills required. Valid SC Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record required.
