“Boots on the Ground” for Community Action Agencies.
Since 1965, SHARE has empowered families, transformed lives, and built stronger communities. On Saturday, May 31st, we celebrated over 60 years of service and honored that legacy with stories of hope and resilience. Attendees received valuable resources from community vendors and entrepreneurs. The event included health screenings, games and free food for all ages. Ms. Pamela Sims, President & CEO, encouraged attendees to continue to fight with us to protect vital program like Head Start, LiHEAP, Home Repair, Youth Development Leadership, Circles and LADDER. These programs change lives and we should tell Congress, “No cuts”. We need “All Boots on The Ground” for continued service and advocacy in our communities.
